I can’t remember which TV programme it was that used to have a Wanker of the Week segment – was it Eurotrash? Or The Word? Something late-nighty on Channel 4 at any rate. Anyway, that’s me this week! Except the ‘wanker’ is replaced by ‘author’. (Or possibly not.)

I’ve been cropping up on lists here and there, what with it being the Summer of Hot Love in publishing, and today I found On Demand on a list of favourites at Waterstones, here. This never fails to amaze me. Thank you, once more, to everybody involved in its success. I’m a very lucky smutter.
